Afternoon all! Well the wedding season has officially taken off here at Micklefield Hall and we can’t wait for Summer to finally start! So many weddings already done and even more to come, so we thought we would take a look back at two weddings where the colour scheme and flowers really stood out.
Amie Bone created these gorgeous tall dome centrepieces for Pedro and Nikki’s wedding last week which incorporate three beautiful flowers: hydrangeas, roses and scented peonies. These large posy arrangements, along with the white framed table names and flameless candles, makes us feel like we are in a fairytale or something.
With a tall standing vase on each table, it isn’t hard to wonder why the couple chose to go with these arrangements. We highly recommend choosing a tall standing centrepiece as the tall arrangements will make any room look even bigger especially if it’s one with a high ceiling.
And we don’t want to forget what the bride picked! The beautiful Bride Nikki chose to go with a simple bouquet with scented sweet peas, peonies and hydrangeas. Doesn’t she just look stunning 🙂
Such a simple and elegant mix and yet it looks perfectly timeless.
Another combination that is proving to be very popular recently has been the colour scheme of greys and blush.
The combo of the soft grey table linen and blush centrepieces really didn’t fail to make each table stand out. As well as the centrepieces Hayley and James also hired in their linen from Amie Bone. Along with her fantastic team she also styled each table with clear glass plates, matching grey napkins and then placed an individual scented rose on each place setting for every guest.
Is anyone else welling up or is it just us?! Both looks are just beautiful.
Two very different looks and both equally as stunning and breath taking as the other. So if you are thinking about what décor you want for your wedding day, consider these two looks especially because they look absolutely stunning in our Great Barn.
