On a warm August day in 2025, Chloe and James celebrated their marriage at Micklefield Hall with a beautiful traditional Jewish wedding. Despite the forecast of rain, the day unfolded with elegance, joy, and unforgettable moments surrounded by their family and friends.
The Morning Preparations
The day began with Chloe getting ready in the bridal suite, accompanied by her bridesmaids. Laughter, excitement, and the soft rustle of dresses filled the room as makeup was perfected and final touches were added. Chloe looked radiant, her anticipation shining through as she prepared to walk down the aisle.
Meanwhile, James gathered with his friends and family for the traditional Tisch in the beautiful fireplace. This spirited gathering was filled with singing, laughter, and heartfelt words of encouragement, setting a tone of community and celebration for the day ahead.
The Chuppah Ceremony in the Orangery
As clouds threatened rain, the ceremony moved indoors to the Orangery. A bright, elegant space at Micklefield Hall that provided the perfect setting for Chloe and James’ Chuppah. The floral talent of Andrew Fleming brought the space to life. With arrangements that were romantic, natural, and perfectly in tune with the couple’s vision.
Under the canopy of the chuppah, surrounded by their loved ones, Chloe and James exchanged vows steeped in tradition and meaning. It was an emotional ceremony, filled with both reverence and joy.
Drinks on the Terrace & Couple Portraits
After the ceremony, the weather cleared enough for guests to enjoy a drinks reception on the terrace. Meanwhile, talented photographer Sarah Legge captured timeless portraits of Chloe and James around the grounds. The happiness and love radiated off of Chloe and James as they danced through the rose garden.
Dinner & Dancing in the Great Barn
As evening fell, guests were welcomed into the Great Barn for a delicious dinner provided by Philip Small Catering. The barn’s rustic charm, paired with exquisite florals and twinkling candlelight, created a warm and celebratory setting for the wedding breakfast.
The celebration soon moved into a spirited evening of dancing. Traditional Israeli dancing filled the barn with energy. Their guests joined hands in circles, lifted Chloe and James high into the air, and celebrated in true joyous style. The barn was alive with music, laughter, and unbridled happiness.
A Day to Remember
Chloe and James’ wedding was a true reflection of love, family, and tradition. Even with a change of plans due to the weather, every element of the day came together seamlessly. An elegant ceremony, joyful celebration, and magical memories made at Micklefield Hall.
We were honoured to host their special day and wish Chloe and James a lifetime of happiness together.
