In February 2022, Micklefield Hall had the pleasure of hosting Eleanor and Mike’s beautiful wedding. The beaming couple said their vows at a local Church before heading Micklefield Hall to enjoy their drinks reception, dinner and PARTY!
Welcoming the happy couple to Micklefield Hall
Eleanor held a colourful bouquet created by the wonderful Andrew Flemming as the couple arrived at Micklefield Hall in an open top car.
Before the couple joined their guests, they took a walk through Micklefield Hall’s well manicured gardens, taking in the day. Eleanor and Mike enjoyed some quiet time, joined by talented Sarah Legge, who spent the day taking the most exceptional pictures of this happy couple.

The weather was classic February weather, cold and crisp, but the newlyweds were still able to gallivant around Micklefield Hall’s amazing gardens for their pictures. The lighting was just perfect for the whole day, creating that ‘golden hour’ look for all of the couple’s pictures.
Food, glorious food (and drink)!
After their drinks reception, our partner caterers K.alm Kitchen, provided a 5-star service 3-course meal. Dinner was closely followed by a scrumptious hot chocolate station, which was the perfect touch to knock off the chill!
The cake
As the evening party rolled in, guests were greeted with the most spectacular cake which was hand made by the Bride! The cake captured the colours in her gorgeous bouquet with hints of spring time.

The Micklefield Hall bar team were ready to go, preparing our very own Gin Bar. Our Gin Bar stocks a range of Wessex Gin flavours and is a popular addition to our couple’s evening bars.
DJ, Sunny Roots, got the guests on the dance floor for the rest of the evening and Mobile Moments provided an awesome photo booth keeping the guests entertained.
