We held our winter wedding at Micklefield Hall and it was magical. Fairy lights twinkling in the barn, a glorious Christmas tree, a roaring fire outside and festive greenery and candles running down the tables. The grounds were stunning giving us opportunity for beautiful photos outside in the winter sun. We retreated to the orangery for drinks and canapés with the sun twinkling in through the windows. The team were exceptional, with Izzy in particular somehow being everywhere at once while remaining calm, warm and helpful.

We lost count of the number of compliments we had about the venue, and honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. From our very first (zoom!) recce of Micklefield, we felt an instant connection to the place – something that was only strengthened by how welcomed we felt by the whole team, and by how lovely and generous of spirit everyone was. To top it all off, everything just ran so smoothly and beautifully on the day – which we know was down to the hard work going on behind the scenes. It meant that we could just revel in the magic of our day and the stunning surroundings with all of our loved ones. Thank you again so much.
