Welcome to Micklefield Hall, the exclusive, country wedding venue in Hertfordshire. Our in-house wedding event managers work with you from the very first moment you step into Micklefield Hall, ensuring exceptional service and seamless delivery.

All of our licensed areas provide a magical space to tie the knot. There is space for up to 200 guests in our award-winning Tithe Barn. This romantic space provides a magnificent setting for your wedding breakfast. Our unique temple, nestled in front of our glistening pond and 450-year-old oak tree, is the most captivating space for wedding ceremonies. Our herbaceous borders, French terrace, rolling lawns and enchanting rose garden provide elegant spaces for your guests to mingle. We have plenty of amazing spaces for your photographs and drinks receptions.

Set in a private, 350-acre farm, Micklefield can promise total exclusivity. This atmospheric country wedding venue is intimate and sophisticated. Providing you with a romantic and elegant setting to build your dream wedding, creating magical memories.

Micklefield Hall has a diverse variety of spaces, all included in your venue fee. All with unique features, each space is expertly designed to provide elegant and intimate spaces. Your wedding event manager will help you to tailor your special day, with wet weather contingencies and recommendations for first class suppliers. Wedding Catering

Micklefield Hall has teamed up with Kalm Kitchen as our exclusive catering partners. As well as developing a selected Micklefield Hall menu, Kalm Kitchen also provide tailor-made menus. Encompassing some of the most creative and exciting ideas to suit any occasion, Kalm really are expert wedding caterers. For kosher or Asian cuisine, Micklefield have a selection of approved caterers from which you can choose.

Accommodation

The newest edition to Micklefield, our six new bedrooms. The rooms, beautifully designed in the old cow barn, are named after Anna & Jamie’s children, their daughter-in-law and Jamie’s dog, Oly. Each room was individually decorated by their namesake (though Oly had a little help from Jamie!).

We have had countless comments on how stunning the venue is and with the sun beaming down on the grounds I think it’s safe to say it’s a place everyone will remember for a very long time. Lauren, you were incredible!!! I think you noticed that I may have ran events and been a project manager before so I apologise for keeping on asking you if everything was running ok! You kept us so at ease and we cannot thank you enough for every single thing you have done for us. I hope it wasn’t to stressful for you and you wasn’t too tired on Saturday! All the staff were amazing. Perfect day at the perfect venue! There is nothing I would have changed if I had to do it all over again – it really was everything we imagined and more!! I don’t even know where to begin, Micklefield was the venue we never knew we’d always dreamt about. It was pure perfection and safe to say we both fell totally in love with the venue the first time we saw it and it absolutely blew our expectations on our big day. Walking down the grass aisle to the temple for the ceremony was so special and the whole area looked breathtaking, as did the barn, the rose gardens, and lawn. Everyone was commenting on what an amazing venue it was and how stunning the whole place looked. Thanks for all your support and help throughout the planning process with any question we had and helping make our ideas come to life – you have all been amazing. The bridal suite was also fab for getting ready in with all the girls and thanks to Anna for even fluffing my dress before heading down the aisle. I just wish we could do it again. Micklefield is such an amazing venue run by a lovely team and we feel very lucky to have started our married life there.
