Kate and Arian got married at Micklefield Hall in August 2024, surrounded by 150 of their closest family and friends. They opted for their Civil Ceremony on our Great Lawn, a first here at Micklefield Hall and wow was it stunning.
The vision that Kate had, being surrounded by a meadow of wildflowers with the view of countryside in the background, truly came to life. Their smiles throughout the WHOLE day just show how perfect their day was.
The Preparations
The morning for bride, Kate, and her five bridesmaids was spent in our luxurious bridal suite, where Charlotte George Hair and Makeup got all the girls ready for the special day.
The groom, Arian, and his groomsmen ambled around the gardens before going into the grooms room to start their preparations.
Drinks and a grazing breakfast flowed for both parties, making for a really special and memorable morning.
The Ceremony
When Kate and Arian sat down with their Event Manager Lauren in their final meeting, they shared their dreams of having their Civil Ceremony on the Great Lawn. Kate had visions of being surrounded by wildflowers, with the incredible rolling hills behind them. This was super exciting for the team at Micklefield Hall and Andrew Fleming’s Florist as it was something that was new to us. We of course have had many different ceremonies here but a Civil Ceremony was something totally new and exciting.
The Micklefield Team laid up 150 chairs for their guests whilst Andrew Fleming brought in the most incredible flower display. It was everything Kate and Arian had dreamt of. The pictures speak for themselves…
The Couple
Photographer, Lily Lane, really took advantage of all of the incredible photo spots at Micklefield Hall (it is what we are here for!). Kate and Arian’s couple portraits are absolutely beautiful. Their love for eachother shone through with their huge smiles, endless giggles and sentimental, quiet moments together.
A big thank you to Lily for capturing such stunning photos of our gorgeous couple and gorgeous venue (biased we know but come on, just look at those pictures!)
The Dinner
The incredible eye for detail didn’t stop there, Kate and Arian’s chosen suppliers totally transformed the Great Barn. With additional criss-cross lighting and white draping provided by That Event Company, more amazing floristry from Andrew Fleming and the tasteful table scaping by the Kalm Kitchen Team.
The guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal by our partner caterer Kalm Kitchen, paired with a bespoke wine menu.
The Party
Now onto the party! After the traditional ‘cake cut’, Kate and Arian shared their first dance as a married couple. They then invited their guests onto the dancefloor to join them. The dancefloor remained full all evening as Ambassador Band performed for the guests into the late evening.
An incredible wedding, for a gorgeous couple. A huge thank you to all of the suppliers who helped make Kate and Arian’s day so special.
