Maria and Johnathon are the perfect example of every reason you should book your Winter wedding at Micklefield Hall. From tasteful festive touches to picture perfect photographs.
Captured by the wonderfully talented Nikki Watkins Photography, this blog will show you just how beautiful your dream Winter wedding could be.
The Morning
One of the most memorable parts of couple’s wedding days is the morning of.
The morning filled with nerves, anticipation and excitement. The morning spent with your chosen few, enjoying getting ready for the best day of your life.
Whether it is in the bridal suite or groom’s room, the mood is always perfection and these shots show just that.
The Ceremony
Maria and Johnathon chose to have their Civil Ceremony in the Great Barn. They were framed by a simple silver birch arch created by our recommended florist Andrew Fleming.
Talented musician Thom Music serenaded the bridal party as they walked down the aisle to an emotional groom as the ceremony was underway. The barn felt cosy, festive and full of love.
Dinner Time!
One of our favourite parts about Winter weddings is how the couple choose to welcome in hints of the season into the decor. Maria and Johnathon went super traditional, focusing in on green colours and velvet textures.
They spoilt their guests with personalised crackers and gambling game, keeping everyone entertained as they enjoyed delicious food provided by our partner caterers Kalm Kitchen.
Picture Perfect Winter Wedding
Whilst many of our couples choose to have their weddings during the Summer months so they can use the grounds, going for a December wedding brings its own special touches. The light for starters. Winter light is just incredible, we are sure we have the support of many photographers with this statement.
Maria and Johnathon’s couple and group shots, show you just how perfect your pictures can turn out, no matter what month of the year.
