Micklefield Hall Wedding With Outdoor Ceremony For Same-Sex Couple
An idyllic ceremony by the pond at this Micklefield Hall wedding. The same-sex couple both chose beautiful lace bride dresses for their big day, with the bridesmaids and man-of-honour wearing navy outfits for the celebration. This wedding was full of personal touches and rustic charm, including tree slice centrepieces, a photo frame table plan, a naked wedding cake along with singing waiters who gave everyone a surprise and wowed the guests.

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Stacey and Fraser’s wedding at the beautiful Micklefield Hall in Rickmansworth. This is the first time I have photographed a wedding at this venue and I hope it’s the first of many as the grounds, barn and ceremony location are all set up perfectly for a Summer wedding.

I don’t really keep it a secret, but in case you’re new here – I LOVE Micklefield Hall. I am lucky enough to be recommended by them (thank you!!) so I work at Micklefield a lot, and every wedding there is a incredible. The venue is beautiful (with various gorgeous options for where to actually tie the knot – this year I’ve photographed weddings by the pond, on the lawn and in the barn), and the staff are absolutely delightful. The caterers are Kalm Kitchen, who are culinary and styling geniuses (or is that genii?!).

I arrived at the bridal suite at Micklefield Hall to capture a few photographs of Hayley and her beautiful bridesmaids getting ready, before popping off to the mezzanine above the barn to photograph the men at the Tisch. I then captured Hayley getting into her absolutely stunning wedding gown…as you can see from the photographs, she made the most beautiful bride!
